Muahahaa! Sylvia Lim is here to make some noise about Service Learning! -.- Ok, not funny. Hahas, sorry for lagging for the past three months! Hahaha oops, havent touched our class SL Project! According to the response I got last term, we should be going into a something like selling stuff in school. BUT! we dunno what to sell! here are some suggestions that I've gotten:

1. Food

a) Chocolate fountain! - It sounds cool but I seriously cannot remember the exact details! Sorry god! It was his idea. Hahas [[ correction: we should be selling with marshmallow, strawberries etc. and god said that it was his gangs idea. haha ]]
b) Ice Cream! - It will be similar to what the interact and network did.
c) Muah-Chee! - I suppose enthusiastic bakers, e.g. mama cheong, and chefs can help with the production? XP

However, we need to think of how we wanna sell them cos we only have a common break in class, cant be selling in the canteen all day.

Proceeds of sales should be going to an organisation, which we haven't discussed. (:

2. Handicraft

I didn't get any suggestions to what exactly to make though, hahas. But I was thinking of making personalised stuff like files or pens. I think they will be fun to design and make. Haha can psycho our friends to psycho their friends to buy lol

3. Ready Made Stuff

This can be a substitute of handicrafts, something like the red noses that the council is selling, or even products that the organisations, like SPCA, have been selling all the while.

I was thinking of selling Daffodil pins or the pins for other cancers (they have for colorectal, lung etc) for the Singapore Cancer Society. The Singapore Cancer Society is having Cervical Cancer Awareness Month in May, so I thought perhaps we could extent this event to our school, maybe on a smaller scale. Besides helping with the sales, we can learn interesting facts about cancer! (hopefully they will help with bio?) Btw, Kay Siong, Mann Ying and I were attached to Singapore Cancer Society for TAG last year. (:



SOOOOO, we need to decide soon cos we needa write proposals and stuff plus we dont want them to clash with blocks II yepps (cos ppl are already mugging in the library AFTER blocks, like edmund - shakes head). Please think over it and we decide on monday okkkayys? (: Thanks alottttttttttttt! (:
