the blog is soooo deeeaaaaad....
nevermind...so mitch everlyn n i started comm serve for interact at bukit ho swee today! i was so excited abt it lor...all was fine...we took 174 to orchard...we went to the underpass...ok...then the trouble starts...we have trouble finding the bus stop....as in we know where the bus stop is but we just don't know to come up from which exit from orchard MRT...
after walking one whole big round...we finally found the bus stop! wonderful...but guess what? we took the wrong bus! sad case....so boss kam in her email mentioned that we can take 14 or 65...somehow when 16 came...we are like "16 can 16 can!"....boss kam also mentioned to look out for brown building....2 petrol kiosk...a canal....and to alight in frnt of neighbourhood police post...easy rite? but then we just keep looking out...hoping to find some petrol kiosk...or brown building (but then at that moment...it seems that all buildings are brown..)
so very sad lor...we just sit on the bus...then after like 5 mins (after we pass by great world city)...we are like "didn't she say it's only a few stops..."so we called her...and realised our horrible mistake...in the end we alighted at tiong bahru plaza...attempted to walk there from tiong bahru plaza....called boss for help...sadly it's not of much help....we spend arnd half an hour looking for it....walk here walk there....ask lots of people...like play amazing race like that....n it's lke 4+...the sun's horrible...the bags are heavy....and we are totally lost....
boss suggest that we go home when we called her...cause she say so late liaoz mite as well go home...but upper thomson/hougang isn't exactly very near to tiong bahru....and it's kind of dumb to go all the way there just to go home....so we keep looking....thank god we finally found it! but too bad too late liaoz...the kid's study time is over...sad....
ended up talking to the person in charge there...can u imagine....we walked arnd abt 40 mins under the hot sun like that...then reach there do nothing but to listen...nvm...at least we know the area better now....
so now we asked the person how to get to tiong bahru plaza the fastest way....he told us....walk in this direction...cross a big field....walk straight...cross 2 traffic light....and walk straight...simple instructions right? By right should reach by 10 mins according to boss....but then we managed to screw up again....our sense of direction is like so amazing!
we followed his instructions....completely....we cross the field....cross 2 traffic lights....and ended up taking abt 30mins!!! i mean when we walked frm tiong bahru to the centre itself we took 40 mins (inclusive of asking etc)...now with instructions we still take 30 mins? crazy lor....
and the worst thing is i wrote down all the instructions on how to get to the centre on a postcard! but i left it at the class bench...i realised i left it at the class bench at the canteen area...but Mitchell ASSURED us that he rmb the bus no....ok lor...so we didn't go back to take...and look at what happened....
