Hi all...STJ's over, hope everyone had fun.

Turnout's not bad...20 seniors + 20 juniors. Just nice.

Thanks to the drawing lots idea, I got a all guys table. Well...everlyn came later..so not counted.

Details:
We are eating at Yuki Yaki at Marina Square (next to the KBox, Pizza Hut, etc), it's similar to Seoul Garden.

Each table in Yuki Yaki is equipped with two in-built stoves for steamboat and teppanyaki.

After one enjoys its main course, its' time for deserts! The Teppanyaki Pan is thoroughly cleansed by the service staff and the thermostat adjusted to a cold temperature, ready for ice cream making. Choose from a generous variety of ice cream flavours and your can start enjoying your ice cream. Truly a revolutionized experience.

The costs is $21.90 nett. (inclusive of everything except ice-cream) If you guys want ice cream, the cost would be $23.90 nett (for yourself).

For treating Juniors, each of us are supposed to have already paid $20. If you haven't, please do so ASAP. So for the juniors, are we treating them ice-cream too?? Rest assured the 20 bucks that each person paid is enough to treat the juniors for the dinner + icecream (cause 25 of us are treating 20 of them.)

The amount we collected = 25 x $20 = $500
The amount we spending (if we treat them ice cream too) = 20 x $23.90 = $478
Amount left = $500 - $478 = $22 (which is just enough for the new set of Maths notes!!)

So treat them ice-cream or not??

And lastly, there's this stupid 2 hour rule...meaning we are only allowed to eat there for 2 hours. If you pay 2 more bucks for that ice cream thing, it's extended to 2.5 hours. So morale of the story is DO NOT BE LATE. The latest latest we are going in is 7 pm. (cause they close at 9.30)

Though I don't think they would chase us out if we stay a while longer than 2 hours. So don't worry.

Now the most important part, please SMS me (kay siong) to confirm your attendance if you haven't, I need to go down tomorrow to confirm the number of people + pay deposit. So please don't pangseh if you said you are going.

Ok, that's all. Mug for econs on Sat so that you don't panic during STJ on Sunday and fail your econs on Monday :)

The Fork

4)Bending a tine on a fork: (this was posted before in the old library, but I figured I'd post it again cause its a freat trick)Prep: Just put a good bend in one of the tines on a fork. If you look at the fork from the front, you should bend the one on the outer right towards you. Method: You just basically hold it in front of the spec(the front side facing them) so the fork appears to be straight. This is just like the spoon bending effect I posted. The key to getting it to look staright is this. You should line up whatever you want to look straight with THEIR nose, and so it looks straight to YOU. If its perfectly aligned, it will look straight to them. And with both of these illusions, it looks best in dim lighting, cause the bend wil glare. If their is a light you can always shade th fork with your hand and act as thought your using your hand to cause it to bend.Now, the bottom tine should be bent towards them, but they cant tell. Then you have to hold the fork with the right hand so it covers the wide part of the fork at the end of the stem cause they will beable to tell your turning it if you dont hide that part. You should hold it so they cant see your thumb behing your hand which is the finger holding the fork. Use the thumb to push on the bottom part of the stem, causing it to turn. It will look like the bottom tine is bending upwards into the fork. This really does look badass if you do it right. Just rotate withe the thumb untill it bends, then immediatly give it out. This one really gets people cause they autimatically want to look at it to see if its really bent, and it is.

in case u dunno yet, rebecca is e new chem rep n im e new welfare rep of 06S71. wellness redefined. my first task this year as 06S71's new welfare rep is the creation of the chao prettyyy S71 angels and mortals board ;) and of course with e help of some other 06S71-ians. (one-ians. shall we call ourselves onions? i mean it!)

HI GUYS
if i'm posting here, it usually means one thing, right? you guessed it.
IT'S... (wait for it, drumroll please)
CLASS FUND COLLECTION TIME.

before you guys run away, let me explain. we need money in the class fund which now has around 10+ dollars, for notes and tutorials of course, but also for the senior-meet-junior session. we're planning to get pizza so we need $$$ to pay for the food, and get other stuff like chips and drinks and xlb SO, if you don't want to end up eating peanuts (which is probably what we can afford right now) and throwing shells at each other... i suggest we all chip in with 10 bucks - for photocopying AND monday.

evidently, if snr-jnr is on monday then we need to collect money to pay for pizza on MONDAY so please please save that ten dollar note for the class fund (:

please also be prepared that there's a high likelihood of another round of fund collection this term, what with STJ as well and notes. i don't want to stress you guys out by collecting amounts like 20 bucks at one shot (or would you prefer that? let me know), so let's just stick with ten this time round so our wallets don't feel so empty okay? ^_^

Anyone wants to watch Death Note 2 tml afternoon? After the $%^&*! bio test tml... relax ur stressed mind... =DU can go watch and find out who's the last name... but these few daes so many ppl spoiling liaoz... lol... Neway, here are the details...

Price: $6.50 (they have discount now... but muz watch b4 5pm... later we lag lag lag then =.= liaoz...)
